WE-Rock - Round #3, Reno NV

This event topped them all because of the great location in down town Reno.  There were more spectators than I have ever seen at a single WE-ROCK event.  Because this event was run over 3 days I was able to compete in 2 classes.  In addition to driving my normal unlimited car, I also drove my old Formula Toyota buggy in the f-toy class.   In the F-toy class we performed well.   We were a bit rusty since we had not competed in this car in 2 years, but we pulled out a second place finish.  In the Unlimited car we fought hard all weekend and were a little disappointed with our performance.  The car seemed to shift or slide at all of the wrong times, this was frustrating, we were hitting cones that were easily passable……AAAAAHHH…..it was so frustrating.  We started the shootout in 5th place.  We completed the shootout with the overall lowest score of -15.  This really put the heat on the rest of the unlimited drivers.  When it was all said and done we finished up with a 3rd place podium finish.  All in all, the weekend was great for Trail-Gear, we brought home 2 trophies.
